Long morning walks on the beach! The dog loved it.

We always love exploring the shops & restaurants in Timbuck II. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! North Banks is one of our favorite local restaurants (they have great clam chowder & steamers).

Hi friends! I hope you guys are doing well. I'm sorry my posting has been so sporadic the last month or two! I think I mentioned before work has been crazy, we're only a few weeks away from closing on the house, and we also just got back from a little trip to the Outer Banks! If you've been following for a while, you'll know that we visit Corolla pretty frequently because my aunt & uncle own a house there. It really is one of our happy places and is always such a relaxing vacation so I knew that was where I wanted to spend my birthday this year!

One day I will do a full post with all of our favorite spots because we definitely have quite a few after years of going. We were really lucky to have gorgeous weather the whole time--70's and sunny! We took long walks on the beach, went to some of the local shops & restaurants (not all of them are open this time of year but a decent amount were for spring break), played games, rode our bikes & enjoyed the scenery, relaxed on their patio. It was a great trip!
