Styling Mom Jeans + FF Link-Up!

Hi friends! I hope y'all are having a good week so far. It has been so busy at work still (hence no post on Monday again) but I can definitely appreciate the distraction! We also are supposed to get warm temps rolling in starting today which I am so so excited for.

I'll jump into this post with a disclaimer--I actually ended up returning these jeans! I really like the way this outfit turned out so I still wanted to post it and the jeans are cute but they were too big on me AND my main issue with them was that they were actually too high-waisted. Don't get me wrong, I am all about high-waisted anything but these came up practically under my boobs! They were so high it almost felt like I was wearing a diaper. They don't look as high in these pictures but that's because they were too big so they slouched down the more I wore them. I ended up returning them and buying this pair from Old Navy instead. They haven't come in the mail yet but I'll totally let you guys know what I think over on Instagram. While I LOVE American Eagle/Aerie, their jeans just have never really worked for me!
