Happy Wednesday y'all! Apologies for missing Monday's post. This week at work is a busy one so just training to balance everything right now. After doing a survey on my Instagram the other day, I'm going to kick off more fall content starting next week!
This past weekend the weather was UNREAL. It was about 75 degrees, sunny and hardly any humidity. We decided to take advantage and head out to Annapolis for the day! We actually never made a trip there when we lived in DC for 6 years prior to Boston and when we moved back, I wanted to make sure we made it a priority to visit during summer. It actually reminds me a lot of Boston because of all the historic buildings and scenic harbor views! It's only about 45 minutes from our house and Steven loved it so we definitely will be making more trips out there.
If you're ever visiting the area, I highly recommend making Annapolis one destination on your list. Parking is a breeze compared to DC and you just can't beat the seafood once you get closer to the Eastern shore!
Downtown area with tons of stores and restaurants! Everything is very condensed which makes exploring super easy. |
The Maryland State House -- so much history and free to tour! |
Such a breezy outfit for exploring--it was about 70 degrees on Saturday! [Outfit Details: Kimono, Jeans, Mules, Tank, Bag, Sunnies] |
We did walk around the Naval Academy as well but I didn't take any pictures as they do tell you cameras are prohibited. Overall it was a great day exploring! |

ReplyDeleteWe went to Annapolis a couple years ago for a wedding and I thought it was the most charming town! Reminded me a lot of Newport and now I want to go back! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
