Happy Friday y'all! Hope you had a great short week. I did one of these a while ago but since I have more readers I thought it would be fun to do another one! Pamela from Sequins & Seabreezes did a post similar last week and it inspired me because they are just SO fun to read. I love getting to know more about the gals I follow!
Q&A –
1. What is your middle name?
Rose—hence the blog nameJ I
think a lot of people don’t know where I came up with the blog title!
2. What is your favorite color?
Probably pretty obvious to those of y’all that have followed
from the beginning but it’s definitely a tie between blush and turquoise!
3. Who was your first best friend?
My first best friend was Kari Anderson—she lived across the
street from me growing up and we were totally inseparable up until middle
school when I went to private school for 2 years!
4. How tall are you?
5’4—pretty average!
5. Cats or Dogs?
ABSOLUTELY DOGS. My closest friends and family know that I am
dog OBSESSED. My dream is to have a big house/yard like in the live-action
version of 101 Dalmations and adopt like 20 dogs! Toby (my golden retriever
mix) is the love of my life. Ya know…besides Steven.
6. Are you in/gone to college?
I went to Clemson University. You might have heard of it since
we were football National Champs last year! Go tigers!
7. What was your favorite/worst subject in High School?
Also should come as no surprise but I have always LOVED writing
so English. I also have a huge fascination with History. Hate math sooooo much.
8. What is your favorite drink?
I’m assuming this means alcoholic and I am a huge wine gal. My
favorite is Sauvignon Blanc!
9. What is your favorite perfume?
Of course the perfume I wore on my wedding day which is now
reserved for only special occasions—Jo Malone “Pink Peony and Blush Suede.”
10. Tea or Coffee?
Ok this is SUCH a tough choice. At Starbucks I 99% of the time
get a soy Chai Tea latte but I also can’t resist coffee when I’m at home or most
days. So probably coffee!
11. What Sports do you play/Have you played?
LOL. I was terrible at most sports. I did ballet for over 10
years and was a cheerleader in high school! That counts right?!
12. What is your favorite book?
This is always so tough because I love reading so much and I
feel like there are some books that have had a really profound impact on me.
For just entertainment reading, Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier is a long-time
favorite of mine. For motivational/inspiration reading I LOVE Big Magic by
Elizabeth Gilbert.
13. Who are some of your favorite Bloggers/YouTubers?
I love and follow SO many! Gal Meets Glam was the first ever
blog I started following so definitely deserves a shout-out. I LOVE Sequins andThings because Haley just seems SUPER relatable and sweet plus her style is so
adorable. For YouTube my favorite is probably Tanya Burr. She just seems like
such a GENUINE person and I love all of her content.
14. What is your favorite movie?
Again SO tough. If there is one movie I could watch over and
over again and NEVER get sick of it’s probably Practical Magic! Beauty & the Beast is also up there (either the new one or the original).
15. Favorite memory from childhood?
Any memory with my grandma is so precious to me. She was the
most wonderful, kind woman!
16. Do you speak any different languages and how well?
I’m trying to teach myself French currently! Well…not teach
myself. I’m using the Duolingo app!
17. How would you describe your fashion sense?
Probably feminine and casual with some boho vibes!
18. What is your favorite restaurant?
I’m a HUGE brunch/breakfast food fan. I think my favorite was
Bluestone Lane in NYC—the avo toast was out of this WORLD.
19. What are some of your favorite tv shows?
Top 5 FAVORITES because it’s just too hard to narrow down: Friends
(obviously), Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, and Grey’s
Anatomy (just because I’ve been watching for SO long). We just started House of
Cards last week though and I’m already OBSESSED.
20. PC or mac?
I actually prefer PC—I think just
because that’s what my parents always had and now as an adult I have always had
PCs at work. Maybe when I start my graphic design class it will change! When it
comes to my phone though I’m Apple ALL the way. I literally don’t understand
droids.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post and getting to know a little bit more about me. Have a fabulous weekend and I'll see you Monday with our Wedding photos:)
PS--should I go back to the blonde balayage like in the picture above?! I can't decide!! So many hair changes!

What a fun post, girl! I loved getting to know more about you, some facts I already knew, but most were new to me! I've heard so many amazing things about Jo Malone's fragrances, but have yet to smell them myself. I know they're quite luxurious. I have this thing that I want a signature sent by the age of 30, so I have one more year to test out as much as possible, haha. Girl, that's awesome that you did ballet! I was a cheerleader in elementary school, but was more into clubs come high school than sports, though I was very much a tom boy growing up, always playing outside with the boys and beating them up, haha. I'm also a wine girl, too. I love pinot noir, cabernet coming in a close second. Thanks for sharing, girlie, and I hope you have a great weekend ahead!

It was lovely discovering your blog and having read this post about you. I could relate to several points. Thanks for the restaurant / avo toast mention - we're going to NY this week, and I want to convert my husband to the avo toast lovers' club - he can't imagine it being as delicious as it is. Lol.

You DEFINITELY have to go to Bluestone Lane! Every time I go to NYC I try avo toast at different places and it was by far the BEST!
