One trend that I am LOVING especially for the warmer months is the "neck scarf"/"bandana" trend! I just think it's such an adorable look and it definitely gives me some retro vibes! It's a great way to dress up just a white tee and jeans or add a pop of color to any outfit. J. Crew has a GREAT selection of bandanas. I want them all!
Also--I have an advice question for you guys. I deleted my Facebook about 2 years ago and it's been so freeing because I just feel like that's one less social media account to worry about! However, I'm thinking about reactivating it only because I want to create a FB page for the blog. How useful do you find Facebook to be for blogging?
This weather is seriously crazy! It makes planning out work outfits for the week super difficult! The neck scarf is such a fun accessory and I love the way you styled it! As for Facebook, I literally only use it to share blog posts. I can't handle all the drama with FB so I just try to schedule my posts out and only have to go on every so often for that! Happy Wednesday!

That's a really pretty outfit, very casual but put together. About facebook, I must say I absolutely hate facebook. I have a personal account for friends and family (I never go there though) and then I have a page for the blog and I don't think it has helped me in the slightest. The only reason why I keep it is because of my readers who follow me on there to find out when I post.

Such a sweet outfit Kelly! I just love a little scarf from bandanna around the neck, especially in the spring. You look cute as ever!
ReplyDeleteYou pull off this trend so well! I love it with a white tee... Perfection! I personally get on FB like once a day (if that) bc I hate all the drama and politics! I don't have one for my blog! Happy hump day!

Loving this cool casual look! That bandana makes the outfit!

I love how you styled the bandanna to be a choker - so fun!! So for facebook, I'm part of a lot of blogging groups and an RS group on FB so it's good for networking in that sense and I post most of my posts to my blog FB page as well as my IG photos get pushed to there. SO for me it's useful, just a personal preference I guess! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely one of my favorite looks of yours! I love the addition of the scarf, those sunnies look amazing on you, and I really love the rinse of those jeans, the white tee pops so nicely, so fresh! I agree, scarves are such a great way to infuse some color or print into an outfit in a way that's subtle and chic; I'll have to check out J. Crew's selection! Wow! I can't believe you guys will be hitting the 80s today! I wish that were the case for us down here in CT, it'll be around 70, but will rain ALL DAY :( As for Facebook, I've found it does bring traffic to my site when I post a peek times during the day, which I've found to be around 3 or 5pm. Other than that, nothing, so with FB it's definitely all about timing. Thanks for sharing, girlie, and I hope you're having a wonderful start to your new month so far!

So cute! I just bought a bunch of neck ties on clearance to wear for spring. Love your cobalt blue jeans!
ReplyDeleteI've been seeing more and more people rocking a bandana and it's really making me want to try it out! I LOVE how you styled it and the color of yours! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the neck tie! This is such a cute, relaxed look! I have a FB account for my blog. I'm part of a few blog groups and I find that it does help drive traffic to my blog.

Great outfit, the nude silk scarf with the boots really worked! With Facebook, I recently started to use it again for my blog and it's far less engaging than on Twitter and Instagram. Definitely haven't found my place yet, but I post my insta pics there and to alert my readers about a new blog post. I am always trying to find more bloggers on FB...

Such a fun little accessory for a simple outfit! Love this look on you! Ahhh I had give up Facebook a few years ago too and made a new one when I started my blog - I don't even really use my personal account and mainly only post on my blog's fbook page and I'm in some Facebook groups and it's brought in some traffic but I'm still trying to figure it out :)

Love this look - the addition of the bandana is so perfectly cool. I need to grab one when I head home. Facebook is actually the form of social media I get the most traffic from. It's def worth setting up!
